That's how I started.įast forward to today. All it would take is to have a large Goodwill near you to get items and you're in business. You could start your business out of thin air. But what they weren't doing was abusing the sellers. The eBay of old worked and worked extremely well. What they should be and what they are are two totally different ideologies these days. It isn't for me anymore with the things they've done and what's happened this past year. Mon Oct 8 10:39:42 wasn't trying to give the impression that is isn't for everyone. Marie, I know you get a lot of fightback and feedback, but I wonder if you really believe you're making a difference to the way people feel about how they've been treated. I relish the day when eBay is not in my thoughts at all. I don't want to go back, I want to go forward. This is my own personal experience of what I've been through on there. I'm tired of feeling like a pin cushion on eBay. I knew that people needed to know me, to see what others thought of my items. What I am proud about is that my business is all about ME and no one else.įinally Etsy is paying off for me. I don't pretend to know what any of you sell or not. Working hard on your own business is incredibly personal. I am trying to see they don't get one nickel more than what I already pay to have my store. Certainly not everyone, but there are lots of sellers that still use TL and an updated enhanced version would be a welcomed event for many.

For many sellers this will be a good thing. As I've said a couple of times, if Ebay enhances it and gives it some expanded capabilities from what it has right now and updates a few things. Giving it as an option to sellers to use as a listing tool. Like updating and enhancing the TL as it currently exists. My personal view of this is that Ebay is having a great deal of trouble figuring out how to bring some of the functions of TL into the SH so now they are looking in another direction. TL still exists because Ebay has not brought some of the functions of TL into the SH.

You would no longer be able to store your listings, templates, work in process, etc, offline. But there would be vast differences which would only make is similar to TL as if it was in the SH, then it would no longer be off line.

Making TL type functions available in the Seller Hub is something Ebay has said for a few years now. The question has been raised because only to spawn conversation. The question of if Ebay is going to "force" sellers to use TL is really not something that is likely to happen. It has been offered as a free tool for many years. You can create, store, edit and many other functions can be done to be uploaded to Ebay at a later time of your choosing. You do not have to be online to create listings.
